The little ones are all tucked in and snacked up. The big ones are at their aunts house and I am waiting to be tucked in for the night....

Never water- though sometimes would give her a small dixie cup of spring water on her night stand if she had a cold with a irritated throat. We only tucked her in until about age 5 to break her from depending on us every night. This way as she got older and went to sleep overs etc.. she wouldn't feel homesick that we weren't there to tuck her in at night.
Now she is 12, she has a coaster on her nightstand with a water bottle she takes up, kisses us goodnight and goes upstairs to bed.

Tuck them in- yes, give them a glass of water- no. Not before bed.

no not at bedtime cause they'll pee in the bed !! why do kids always ask for water at bedtime anyway? Maybe a reason to just stay up longer?!
