A kool guy I was speaking to on yahoo stated that mobo doesn't support SLI.
I want to be able to go up to the people who are building the system and confront them. I know some people out there who end up building a system with different parts from the ones paid for.

I REALLY need a fast power silent computer built for my music production/post production purposes. Macpro isn't an option because I want to run windows without using bootcamp. So I need a proper windows system. Just need builders in the UK that I can trust.

That is an extremely powerful PC there. You got one of the best processors, a terabyte of storage space (thats 1000GB), 4GB of RAM, 512MB video card, and its a custom build. I dont know what form of currency that is you talking about but it sounds like its alot and I think its worth buying this PC if your a gamer or a developer. If you are just going to surf the web or other stuff that dosent require this power than I wouldnt get it.

It's true that motherboard doesn't support SLI, it only has 1 x16 pci slot.
If the order specifies they're only selling you 1 7600GS video card it doesn't make any difference.
I would guess that the "SLI" on there is just part of the name for the particular make/model of that card, to specify that it COULD be used in an SLI setup, if you wanted to buy 2 of them, or something.
That is a pretty cheap card to throw in with such a high end cpu, but I gather graphics power isn't the primary objective you're after here, so it's likely quite adequate for what you need.
That doesn't look like the fastest memory in the world either, or the latest motherboard either. And I'm sure the ethernet, the audio and the firewire is all from onboard the motherboard, so you're really just talking about the mb there.
So anyway, are you talking about 1579 in british pounds? Because that would seem pretty high to me. But you're going to pay extra if you expect somebody else to set that stuff up for you.
You should take the time to get a specific list of all the components ordered and price them out yourself on the internet.

The only problems I have with the spec are the Graphics card and the PSU.
At this price, I would have expected an 8800gts, or an ati h2900 dx 10 card. That said, the fact you want a silent pc restricts the power of all components. You might want to ask them for a 8600gt fatal1ty from XFX.
500W is fine provided you're not going to use dual graphics cards. The truepower3 psu's have a single fan and are fairly quiet.
It's a slightly flawed system, but is designed to be quiet. Negotiate on the graphics card, and it's not too bad.
Personally I build my own PC's.

Processor and RAM are kinda midsection of the line(by potential of that, I mean 4 Gigs is virtually beastly, yet once you may run 667 MHz you may run 800 MHz. and that i could circulate with a three GHz processor.... could no longer value too plenty greater.), and that i heard the 9000 sequence nonetheless has some bugs to artwork out, despite the fact that it nonetheless sounds greater appropriate than lots of the desktops you are going to purchase off the shelf on the container shops... Drop approximately $4 hundred on a respectable video show and then get a competent soundcard and audio device and you will have a enormously stable media setup...

That's a Wise question! I paid about a 1,000 pounds for an Average Laptop Meaning the specks were medium. Had I known that more specks more speed I wouldn't have accepted it as a gift for that persons own good.

for a purchase like that i'd want to see the person building it as well. that is a really high end system and from what i've seen the parts alone total more than the price you mentioned.
