The Cardinals just got 10 consecutive tonight. It got me to wondering.

Just got my answer ...... 10 consecutive hits tied the MLB record set by the Royals in 04 (there is a trivia question for you!).

The Cardinals already shared the record, along with the Dodgers, of 12 consecutive hits but in both cases the 12 were spread out over two innings.
I'm surprised that they walks don't end the streak - for example, Molina walked during the 10-hit stretch. But, the Royals had a couple of walks sprinkled in when they did it against the Tigers on September 9, 2004.
