i've a problem in one of my two hard disks wich make one of the partions not opening and i got error massege tells me that "the disk drive is not formatted do you want to format it" and i've very important data in this drive so i want to save the data and avoid the data loss before i formate the partion and idon't no how to do that please help me cause there are very important files in that partion

you could try slaving it into another machine to see if it detects correctly ... or u could try a recovery application ..

Hook the hard drive up to a computer as the slave drive, and you should be able to read any files and partitions that are on it. If you can't, it could be gone.

If it's important, you can always take it to a tech shop and ask them to try to retrieve the data. If they can't, they can't really charge you for not fixing it.

That partition with not something on that's for lower back-up, its a restoration partition. a million pass to device methods 2 lower back up status and configuration 3 lower back-up now > and you will see the lower back-up directed to that vacant partition

Try setting up the problem drive as a slave to a bootable drive and you should be able to save your data from it that way.

There is a program called Recuva, that can recover files on that partition, and it is freeware.
