Just drill with the smallest bit in the dolls head and then get some super glue from the dollar store and carefully glue the hair back in.

I actually saw a dvd on ebay that dealt with rerooting and more restoration methods for Barbie. Try looking it up on search engines.

you purchase some weft hair, thread about 10 strands into a needle, take the dolls head off and start sewing it in. in one hole out the next...then repeat the process....over and over and over again. pretty soon her hair is ready to style

Just kidding. I've never heard of such a thing. You might be better buying a dolls wig and gluing it on.

I don't know that it is possible. Why not take the doll with you to yard sales and flea markets and try to match up the skin color to your damaged doll. If you find one that will work, pop off it's head, and replace it with the new doll's head. No one needs to know you replaced it.
