One broken law, high crime or to commit an impeachable offense. None of which he has done. It's that simple.
Kellye R: just wanted to remind you that President Bush has until Jan. 2009 left in office, the election is Nov. 2008. Your numbers are off by one year.

Everything he's done so far is an impeachable offense, the American public has not called for it, he's only got five months left, the next president won't be sworn in officially until January. Maybe the public feels powerless or doesn't know what to do or both.

Do you mean to bring him to trial or to have him taken out of office, because impeach means to bring to trial.
Um you would have to have a CRIME, such as treason, bribery or other high crimes, that he committed, and not some made up bs. For example: if you don't believe in the war, that is NOT a crime he committed. Then the House has to impeach him, or bring him to trial. They only need a simple majority to do so, but then the Senate must have 2/3 vote to convict him, and then he would be out of the office.
Clinton was impeached, but he wasn't convicted, so he remained in office.

Just as with every other President, a law would have had to been broken. See Clinton's presidency for the impeachment process, it was well documented. Thank you for asking.

It would take a Democrat with more balls than brains. It would go nowhere and end up with that politicians last days in office. Democrats like power and camera time too much to risk it without proof.

FORGET IMPEACHMENT---HE NEEDS TO GO TO PRISON!! ---HE IS A CRIMINAL!!!
In the 2000 election, Bush and his family, and the Republican party ILLEGALLY TAMPERED WITH VOTER'S RIGHTS!!
THAT IS A "FEDERAL OFFENSE, PUNISHABLE BY LAW".
HE CAN NOT ONLY BE IMPEACHED, BUT HE SHOULD BE SENT TO PRISON AS AN EXAMPLE TO THE NEXT GROUP THAT ATTEMPTS TO DEFRAUD VOTERS OF THIER MOST BASIC CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO RUN THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT FAIRLY.

The dems won't impeach him because they want to take the white house, senate and house. A republican would have to get the ball rolling.

We would have to bring Monica Lewinsky back to work as a White House intern.
