Rags are extra useful in case you do no longer wash them too many times - merely rinse them out. while you're worried approximately germs (which maximum each and every person is waaaaay too in contact approximately besides) then you definately can use some tea tree oil or cleansing soap with tea tree oil for that is antibacterial sources. in case you are able to, you ought to use a comfortable bleach or ammonia answer. yet bear in suggestions, something that kills "germs" will kill any valuable microorganisms as nicely. once you do wash them, use a biodegradable cleansing soap instead of a detergent. detergent = solvents + surfactants (unnatural and polluting) cleansing soap = fat + lye (organic and extra useful for the ambience) in case you sense you ought to use paper towels, purchase some that are made out of recycled paper with a minimum of 30% placed up-customer content, and that are no longer bleached or are no longer bleached utilising chlorine.

I air dry my dishes. It takes me long enough to wash them, so I'm not wasting any more of my time drying them too.
