This would be sad if it was not surprised, as a result I can just laugh.

Then again Russia is missing dozens of nuclear weapons from the cold war...

Doesn't surprise me. They lost millions(may be billions) in CASH. Actual cash in wooden crates. After initial invasion they failed to secure weapons caches in Iraq. Letting whole bunch of weapons go stolen and probably used against US troops later.

From what I've read, the guns were never delivered to their intended recipients, i.e. stolen in transit.
