Before I moved to Crimson Tide country, I would have hated it, But there are some neat, and yes, relaxing reds out there that look really good as living room decor. (Personally I could only handle it juxtaposed with white.)

I have a friend that tried it. The sample was red, the paint stick was red, but the room, once done, was dark fuchsia. Be careful. If you can get it to work, it'd be cool.

Red walls are cool depending on the shade. Gold accents. Not red carpet.

That seems really nice to do. My mom been wanting to do that for a couple of years now, but still never did. But I wish you a good luck and also that's a good color for everything.

I wouldn't put it in the living room but I think it would be a good accent wall in a den or kitchen.
