Or get up and change the channel ?

You see, I'm a forward thinking person. I would stop searching for the remote and just change the channel, but then I remember that sooner or later, I'm going to have to get out of my comfy couch and change it again if I stop looking. So I will search up and down for that remote, in order to try to ensure I can be lazy later.

Since Comcast has gotten this new stupid box that has no buttons that allow you to change the channel, I have to search for the remote.

because it's annoying to have to stand right by the television, fiddling with the channels
also, the remote usually is found within 10 seconds

If I can't find it and I'm beat I'll just leave the TV on the same channel. Or I'll go to bed and use the other TV.:-)

I keep the remote in a particular spot so I don't lose it.

i always lose the remote so im always on an endless hunt for it. they should seriously make remotes with pager buttons :)

i dont lose it. i put it between the bed and headboard so i can always find it.
