I know exactly what you mean. Something good comes along and then all of a sudden something bad comes right back at you. I just have to deal with it. Depending on the situation, I fix what's necessary or just let it be. Sometimes I do things that distract my mind like drawing or music.
At times like these, you really learn to appreciate what you have already. Try to stay strong and keep hoping things will get better.

Remember that only if you created your own life could you ever have the right to judge IT one way or another. You were given the gift of Life and always hidden deeply in the negative perception, is the jewel that is meant to be seen. Everything happens for a reason so clear the hurdles and continue on the journey. Best wishes and Peace be unto you.

Sometimes I just sit and weep a little weep, eat some chocolate ice cream, vent to my friends and then go to bed in peace. Secure in the knowledge that no matter how bad this day has been, some part of tomorrow will be better than the worst part of today.
I think we have to have some bad times in order to fully appreciate the good times when they come.

How would you be able to 'really enjoy the good things in life' if you didn't have to 'deal with' those times that 'really suck?' Think about that as you go through the 'sucky times' and they won't seem nearly as 'bad' ... because you KNOW that you'll be 'totally happy' again in the future, and that will 'feel better' because 'right now really sucks.'

Life sucks sometimes so that you appreciate the good times that much more. When life sucks for a little while, you wait a little while.

Right on sista, I know what u sayin. Sometime life just turns to poop. I just kinda get back to basics. Back to home, clean out my wardrobe (and the rest of the house), clean my desk out and try to make sure that everything that I can control is as organised as possible and that I can relax for a bit.

Remember that the sucky parts of life serve their purpose. They help us appreciate the really great parts of life. Whenever I remember that it makes the sucky parts of life a little bit easier to deal with.
Then I usually get lost in some music...

I sit down and count my blessings, all the good things I have or have had. I start naming the friends that I can count on. I look at the fact I have a place to live, food to eat, etc. I get out into nature, and try to intentionally see the beauty. Then, I sit down and say thank you to God.

You only have to make a temporary retreat. Life will get better as time passes. I've seen good things happen seemingly out of the blue. Don't do anything rash to yourself and live to fight another day. It will get better.
