In Communist China whenever the Government decides there are too many people to feed they starve a few hundred thousand to death so they don't have to worry about feeding them.
Oh and the housing that they provide is without adequate heating and plumbing and have very small rooms.
And they are given a certain amount of food each month and if they eat all of the food they are given before the month is over they starve.
If the Gov. wants to take their children and put them in the military or work camps the parents can't say or do anything about it or they get a bullet in their head.
And what's worse of all is they don't give out food vouchers for Starbucks so all of the Socialists posing as Liberals wouldn't have anywhere to hang out all day.
Whoever said "Give me Liberty or give me death" knew what they were talking about.

Second, who said anything about food and shelter???
Third, the proposal is for health INSURANCE
And what freedoms does someone give up to have health insurance?!?
