I completely agree. There are times when someone is reported for something that was an obvious joke (nothing raunchy about it) ... and then there's the morons who keep coming back no matter what horrific stuff they type out. Now that we are able to track people down by their computer IP addresses ... they ought to be able to use them to track down the idiots here that keep showing up over and over again and saying disgusting things about children, race, etc ... rather than harass people who are being reported for a silly joke.
Today one of them said something so disgusting about child molestation I think he should be arrested for it. But I'm sure he'll be here again tomorrow with a new account - and SAME name for that matter. I'm guessing, however, that they don't have enough help in this department and are so overloaded that they just "notice" everyone without really looking in to what is being said. That's too bad ... because if they keep letting this happen Q & A will eventually go so downhill they will have to shut it down.
Funny how after all this time ... the bad guys still ruin it for the rest of us!

They send out automated violation notices and automated replies when we contest them because 90 % of this site is automated.

normally they do, must be cause someone gave them a prod on the **** and told em to clean up their act. So they deployed the thought police!

Just kidding. I don't think it's so much that they don't investigate, it's just that they really enjoy $mitty's questions seeing as how he's still around. They also enjoy anything inflammatory against religion (as long as it isn't Islam.)
