at the top where you type in the URL well mine doesnt have that and it used to but now it doesnt.... whenveer i type in a URL like yahoo search or google comes up with the url i typed in....i dont like that and how can i have more than one tab without yahoo? my laptop is a IBM thinkpad if you needed to know

Go to View > Toolbars > Address Bar in IE for a missing "URL" bar

At the top of the IE browser......

Click View
Click TOOL BARS
and make sure "Address Bar" has a checkmark next to it.

Listen to these people, but you should use msn explorer or firefox (the initial loading time for ie is ridiculous).

and u use internet explorer y ? IE is the worse web browser every conceived by man. get firefox and u wont have these problems.

in internet explorer, "view" "toolbar" and make sure theres a check next to "address bar", if there is none, check it.
