Im more than a little bored and disgusted with the two party system. Both parties are filled with coruption and hair brained agendas. Right now third party candidates only siphon votes from one or the other of the main two parties. (Example.. Perot, Nader, Liberatarians etc.) Do you think this will ever change?

Not until the US switches to publicly funded elections and takes the money factor out of the equation.

This can be done by state funded and federally funded air time and forcing the networks to set aside air time for debates and ads on our public airways.

Yes... The American people are getting their fill and when eventually they have enough things will change. Third parties scare the two major parties even now for if they don't give some attention to issues they may lose votes. Truth is the third parties are all the average American has that express the views relevant to reality. The two major parties have long ago sold the American people to Corporate America and the news is beginning to spread. A Parliamentary type of government is another viable solution but as of yet not readily acceptable to Americans who've been poisoned and deluded by the mainstream corporate owned media.
LOOK AT THE ANSWERS HERE ON THIS QUESTION... If every American,(and Y/A represents a good portion of Americans), would answer their own conscience and support by their values instead of AS THEY"RE DIRECTED a third party candidate would be a shoo in. A Parliamentary type government would replace the monsters we have in office now. just look around and become aware. Ask your friends, your family, your co-workers and listen to their replies. NO ONE IS HAPPY WITH THIS CRAP

I think third world parties will start seeing more influence in the elections if the people stop believing that when they vote for them that they are wasting their vote. People are only wasting their vote if they keep electing the same two parties over and over again and then expect change.
I'll be voting 3rd party candidate AGAIN. Neither party offers anything because they are moving toward the same agenda: American corporate imperialism at the cost of the American people.

Bloomberg would if he wasn't Jewish (don't get me wrong, I'm Jewish, but America is a prejudiced society).

He is a multibillionaire so he doesn't need campaign funds. He might be able to beat both Giuliani and Hillary in New York and could win other states as well. He was a Republican but is very centrist and an attractive alternative with a history of success at every job he's ever had.

No, The Dems and Repubs have to much power and the third part candidates aren't good enough to make a impact in national elections since Ross Perot.

When the American people have finally had enough of the b.s. that is politics and start blogging, voting, write in voting, and demanding a change with a loud enough voice, things can change. That won't happen anytime soon but i think it can happen.

Turn that around for a minute. Can you imagine how poor the candidates of the two major Parties have to be, in order for that to occur? Can you imagine how bad off America would have to be? I am not looking forward to that day.

I agree, it won't happen until everyone stops defending they're supposed obvious choice of a party and just agree that they're all corrupt. All this neocon vs lib S%&t keeps the fire burning high though

I am not a lawyer or a doctor, but people often ask my advice. I have a reputation for being honest as well as intelligent. So maybe I should try sending bills to people who ask my advice.

Things would have to get much worse for the average American. Most of us are still too comfortable to change.
