It’s just, I asked a question about Big Brother and there seemed to be some confusion about which country I was talking about. Instead of spelling it out to everyone which country you are watching Big Brother, should Yahoo! Answers have a Big Brother category which includes every country that is involved with Big Brother? I think the main reason why people get confused with this is because people have the all English option on, instead of being like me, where I just have UK & Ireland questions only.

Well Trev, I ask my questions on BB as "BB8UK" not to cause confusion........check them out if you don't believe me!

No need for separate categories, just common sense........I think the names of the contestants kinda gives it away if they are included in the question anyway!

By the by..........how is the US version going?

Trev, if you want to go on Y!A USA just click on Yahoo on top left hand corner and chose "other yahoo service" this will give you the option on what country you want to use!
Saying that, most English questions are posted on all English speaking sites!

There really is no need for that.

I've just clicked on the American flag and taken myself onto their site - I then clicked the box to the left saying 'USA Questions Only' and that was it.

Any questions or answers would be for the USA only. I don't see why those of us that move around to different sites, can't double check that we're on the site we want in the first place. Obviously I've come back to the UK site now.

It's just so simple.

I've notice the same thing... bugs me like hell that people don't use that filter button and then wonder why questions they read don't relate to their own country. I think Yahoo need to put the button at the top of the page or something to make it obvious to users.

No, that would not be necessary. Big Brother IS part of reality TV. I would be pretty contenet typing in either UK or US if I was watching either one.

Actually, that's a really good idea.

It would also prevent repeat questions from people who don't bother checking who's asked what.

OH my god I was thinking the same thing. Yahoo should do that.
