The county health department should be able to direct you to their clinic or a low income clinic, but I have a feeling that you need surgery, and that would be better to go to a public hospital and let them x-ray, etc. Public hospitals will often forgive bills for people who can't pay, are unemployed, uninsured. I'd personally go to the ER.

Your best bet would probably to see if there's a free clinic in your area. If there isn't, then I would go and ask the local hospital, or a family clinic about price reduction due to income. Another thing, I would try putting ice on it. If you've already tried, then ignore that.

Go to any ER and get checked up on and take any xrays or tests that they tell you.

You will get billed and you can turn it into a payment plan.

I work for a not-for-profit, AWESOME, Fortune100 best places to work for, Hospital which offers great financial aid for patients. Try visitng a community hospital, a not-for-profit, hospital that will take care of your financial needs.

That is what the financial aid office is used for in the hospital!!

Find a local Health Center. They usually have a sliding scale depending on your income.
