All are true.
Yet I, (epileptic) have no epileptic children, but I do have one who died of Down's Syndrome complications, an autistic child, and identical twins.
My brother, normal, with a "normal" wife, has had a child die of genetic causes and had a normal daughter.
My other sister in law is having a son with a cleft palate, but she is "normal" as well. It's just genetic chance.

Yes to all of the above. It depends on if the handicap> I prefer the word special need is hereditary then it is a matter of probability. AND oh yes normal mothers can have special needs babies. Happened to me:) ANd yes special needs mothers can have normal babies.

Some problems are genetic such as down's syndrome. A down's syndrome mother will always have a down's syndrome baby. Some problems are nutrition related such as spina bifida. A normal mother will have a spina bifida baby if she doesn't eat enough green vegetables. Some problems are just accidents. Cereral palsy is from an injury before or during birth. Cerebral palsy parents will have normal children.

theres a chance i could have a perfectly normal healthy child
