No, that's not correct. This is all related to the incorrect statistic that a person only uses 10% of his or her brain. In actuality, the entire brain is used and the functions of different parts of the brain are pretty well understood. The root of this misconception appears to be one of the following: roughly 10% of neurons are firing at any given moment, or 10% of the human brain had been mapped as of some point when a statistic was released, or 10% of the cells in the brain are neurons while the other 90% are glial cells. In any event, the 10% use statistic is incorrect.

other parts are used but the part used for thinking is the one people are most aware of. the brain interpretssignels and sends them to a person's eyes. that and walking. what has not been done so far is to replicate the process and create a fully conscious brain to insert in humanoid body . as far known only horror film or thing like it. better answer before

i think that a human can do a lot more than we know it. I believe in spiritual stuff and my answer is that we don't use it completely.
And be real....how come the biologists know whether or not we use the brain completely? Did they had a magical journey into the brain and the brain told them that he's used at full capacity? ....

i think that a majority of us use our entire brain. how much science knows about it, i would have no clue.
then there is the other part of the human race that only uses about 15% of there brains. they are called morons. you know, blondes, rednecks, president bush. those type people.
just kidding, i love blondes and rednecks.
even bush from time to time.

False. We use all of this rather energy expensive organ. It has too many tasks to do to have much idle time; even when sleeping.
