it would be nice to go them. additionally evaluate getting some extra black skirts as those are education fish and are happier in communities of five+. which will decrease down on their chasing the different fish. i might additionally recommend a third rainbowfish in case you have the room. You get the terrific hues from the boys while they could compete for a woman's interest (and that they at the instant are not that aggressive of their "opposition, they attempt to outperform one yet another with their hues), so get 2 men and one woman. Gouramis might nicely be territorial in case you have 2 men, so attempt a woman and male right here. in case you get molleis, bear in recommendations how immediately and easily those can reproduce. You different fish might eat the fry, yet once you do not choose to difficulty with fry in any respect, you may get 2 men. they could be a sprint territorial and p.c.. on one yet another, yet they are in a position to stay mutually in a 50-fifty 5 gallon. and that they won't overpopulate your tank. in case you get women folk, they'll probable already be pregnant from men on the save, and that they are in a position to save sperm and supply delivery approximately as quickly as a month for the subsequent 6 months. I agree, it is an addicting interest. I honestly have numerous of the two freshwater and saltwater tanks, and that i might like to establish much extra!

Generally a little more than 2 inches... some will stay smaller, some will grow bigger. A lot of it depends on genetic variation.

Honestly, the biggest I've seen is close to 4" in diameter. This is why I don't think pet stores should sell baby fish really, because people have no idea how big they get and don't often stock their tanks accordingly.
