! really want to buy and Apple iBook because they're cheaper then Dell laptops, because my dad only uses dell and he said ! can't get an Apple because we use Dell.
But can I run windows on an Apple computer??
Please help me because iBooks are soo cheap and the cheapest Dell laptop I've found on Ebay is $300 and they have iBooks for like $120 and I can actually afford that.......
So can I run windows on and Apple iBook??

u cannot install windows on an old apple ibook. u can only install window on a new intel mac. so no u cannot install windows on that. old mac use the power pc processors from motorola.

No, all the iBooks ran PowerPC processors. And yes, Apple computers running Mac OS X are way better than Dells running Windows.

If you do happen to get the iBook and try to install windows on it, you will be sorely disappointed. You can only install windows on the new Intel Macs.
Yes, a Macbook is an Intel version.

You can get a new MacBook from places like Macmall with both the MacOs and Windows preinstalled. It will cost you more than a MacBook without Windows, my guess is at least $200 more. Just get an entry level MacBook for $999 and tell your dad the next time his Dell is down because it has a virus, that you'll lend him your Mac until his gets repaired.
