we never hear anyone talking about all the people who can barely afford to get to work as it is and now it is getting so bad that people are only working to be able to fill up their tanks to get back to work and can barely live from day to day? I am sick of the rich getting richer and the middle and lower classes being left behind. we are turning into a third world country and no one is willing to do anything about it.
companies leave the USA to get cheap labor and so it is even hard to find a job today. WHAT DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD AND CAN DO?

I also want to know why you never hear it on the news how bad it is for the real people. But as soon as they say "oh it looks like the gas prices might go up" boy the gas stations are on it and send the prices up 20 cents a gallon

I agree with you. And every other average working class American feels the same way. This country isn't being United. It's two classes. Rich and Poor, with a GIANT gap in between. What most people don't realize is we are being robbed. Some say these CEO's deserve the 100 million payday. OK. If we went to the bank and robbed it, saying we deserve extra money just for trying to work so hard, do you think WE wouldn't be put in prison. Laws need to be changed and higher taxes need to be collected from these robbers. I know everyone makes the most they can, but, how much does one person truely need to live a full life. Greed, Theft, Misery, Manufacturing catastrophe, Housing market is heading into a catastrophe, so many people losing there homes, forclosures, hundreds of thousands of jobs lost, and it's going to get A LOT worse, believe me. These are very similar circumstances just prior to THE CIVIL WAR, WW1, WW2, and Vietnahm. I'm a firm believer to the saying, what comes around goes around. And all those greedy ones, well, they'll get what's coming to them.

Have you ever actually been in a third world country? We are no where near being a third world country.
Prices on some products may be high, but don't begin to compare what you have to "endure" to what those in real third world countries endure.

We need to start another American Revolution. But, even those of us in the middle and lower classes of American society are far too comfortable to disrupt our own levels of convenience.
Like lobsters languishing in a pot of lukewarm water, we will not start screaming in agony over our own apathy until the water starts boiling over. Then it will be too late. -RKO- 08/06/07
