Why in the world does a 13 year old need $1500, especially in such a short timeframe?

What ever it is, it's something that you can not afford. Now would be a good time to learn the difference between WANT and NEED. Living within your means is a very important life lesson.

Well, holding a tin cup at an intersection may not work, and it's too late to make that much by cutting lawns til the end of summer. Unless you charge high and do many.

Yes, BTW means by the way.

YOU NEED TO GET A JOB RIGHT NOW AND WORK EVERY SHIFT THEY'LL GIVE YOU FROM NOW TO THE END OF THE SUMMER... AND PROBABLY A FEW WEEKENDS AND EVENINGS AFTER SCHOOL STARTS, TOO!!!

you can't - you're too young (child labor laws) to get any kind of part time job, other thans a paper route, cutting lawns or babysitting, never mind one that pays that much - lots of adults with full time jobs don't make that much in a month - gross, never mind net cash, like I think you want
