I cant updgrade the video card, but will upgrading ram make my graphics better?

my computer is dell d600 with 512 mb ram...bad thing is doesnt have another slot for ram, all i can do is replace the 512 with a 1 gb

It will help your game run smoother, but it will not make the graphics better.

The answer is no the thing that will make the graphics better on a laptop or any computer is the Video or graphics card which on most laptops can be very expensive. The one bad thing about Dell computer systems is you can usually only put Dell Brand parts into it as I have found out.

not being able to upp the video is a shame. but yes you can get a boost potentially from game performance - the reason for this being that your computer has more memory so that it doesnt need to 'steal it' from your shared graphics option.

No, but it will help with loading and overall faster performance since the information can be loaded onto the RAM

most likely .. no ... it may help some if ur really low on ram to start with .. but generally ram isnt a cure-all ..

upgrade ur memory to at least 1gb, 2gb is best. it will not help make graphics better however.

it might... depends what your game requires. repost with the game you want to play and what your exact model computer is. and how much memory you have .. and what ver windows your running
