We needed to have someone in charge there that we can get along with. We need what they have and they need what we have. I love and respect this country but the fact is we don't help others unless we get something out of it. Don't criticize that statement. It is the truth.

We are trying to bring peace to the region.

There are terrorists, different religious sects, and others there who want power. I saw a great piece on the Kurds on 60 minutes the other night and how they have been living in peace since the war began...because they aren't after power, they just want peace, and they have worked hard to gain it. But, since other people there want power, there are many deaths everyday.

If people would just cherish peace, there wouldn't be so much violence.
