I think he probably used steroids to reach the record. He says he didn't know that the trainer was giving him steroids. It will probably be a question mark on his career forever.

There has also been controversy because the baseballs have a different core than when Henry Aaron played. The newer core makes the baseball a little more lively.

yes i do. as a giants fan i cant wait for bonds to break the record and add to it. i dont care what other people think about bonds. steroids or not, he is still the greatest and most feared hitter in history (look at the # of walks and pitchers used steroids as well). of course only giants fan would understand that bonds was the reason that SF still has a team as the the giants in 1992 were about to move to florida. barry kept them here.

Barry couldn't hold the jock-strap of George Brett, Tony Gwynn, Cal Ripken, etc. His big, fat, steroid head might make a good space-station though.

I have mixed feelings. Alot of people think he cheated, which he has, but just steriods arent going to get you 700+ homers. Im still very misunderstood of Bonds, and i think Bud Selig shouldve cleared everything up two years ago.

Regardless of all the negative stuff surrounding Bonds, I'm glad that he's breaking the record. In like thirty years I'll be glad I witnessed such greatness.Eventually A-Rod will break Bonds record anyway.

I am so glad it will soon be over. Both he and Biggio and Glavin have made a good team sport into nothing more then side show antics.

Yo, tying isn't winning nor is it beating. Tell us when he breaks it. Not when you think he beat it.
