What the... This past week, Seattle and Detroit have been screwing around, managing to stay within 1.5 games of eachother in the wild card amidst both of them skidding. Well, while they kept losing games, the New York Yankees... Yes, the Yankees! Have snuck up from behind to be tied with Detroit (and leading the devision, should Detroit lose tonight) Is it possible for New York to keep surging? Can Seattle and Detroit stay in the wild card, or their tight divisions?

Detroit with out a doubt. Leyland is too good of a manager to let them fall out of the playoff picture. Their schedule is pretty favorable as well.

It's going to be a September to remember, that's for sure. If Seattle and Detroit can get back on track, and the Yankees keep playing like they have been (they're finally going to play a winning team, by the way), I think they all can stay in the Wild Card and in their Divisions

To you a sorry Mariner fan, do you really think that the Yanks would be out of the playoff in general? Screw the wild card race the Yanks want to win the AL Division. The Yanks are watching the M's and either the Wahoo's or the Twinkies are hurting themselves. As either your team and the other teams ahead of the Yanks are losing the Yanks are winning and are going up the ladder. Keep on losing M's so we can if worst case scenario win the wild card. Remember this the past two or three years the WC have won the WS.

well yeah the Yankees can defiantly keep it up but like the rest of the people are not Yankee fans say they won but i guess they will have to prove that they are a serious playoff team and they will win the wild card and good things are happening for the Yankees

No idiocy about it, depressed Seattle fan (more likely due to the team than the rain, by the way). The Yankees are back and here to stay. No reason why they can't take on anyone in baseball.

The wild card will NOT be The Tigers!
They will flat out win The Central Division.

individually, i does not trust you. The Rays can save directly to win that branch, even though it would be by using in simple terms a sprint. NL: Florida Marlins or St. Louis Cardinals * i can ascertain the cardinals making it and that i can ascertain the Marlins coming in close, additionally. AL: Boston pink Sox * The pink Sox are the two going to win the branch or take the wild card. i think that they are going to take the wild card.

I think Seattle will win the wild card! They have one of the best relievers in J.J. Putz. One of the best outfielders in Ichiro! Adrien Beltre isn't bad either.
