No. Competative yes. I think a good season would be 8-8 with the rookies all showing they belong.

Great? Highly doubt it. Better? Possibly, but looking at their schedule they may end up with another losing record. They should have at least a better offensive line if anything. Give them a chance to grow first and i think they will go in the right direction. Anything can happen though.
After posting, i see a lot of people came on just to make dumb comments because they do not care for the Browns. I could really care less being a Charger fan. Why would they bother?? Are they that scared of the Browns??? Whatever makes you feel better i guess. Says a lot for your character i guess.

Fyre was working out with Mcnabb in the Offseason, Hopefuly he picked up enough pointers to be better this year. the O-line has been beefed up and now maybe we can have some better blocking for Jamal and pass protection for Frye or maybe Anderson. The defense should be a whole lot better this year,If Leigh Bodden stays healthy we could have one of the best cornback tandems in the league. Our sophmore Linebackers should get well over 100 tackles this year(Jackson and Wimbley) .Cribbs will do great again this year in KR .Maybe he'll run a few back for TDs. later.

Yeah by VALLEY and peak, more like learning curve. But it's gonna be a disappointment season, just like last year, man they can't even get that loser Brady Quinn to sign on time to compete for the starting job. The Browns have question at all position from top to bottom, even new coach next year is not out of the question.

I hope not. They can become a great team next year but they have to suck and make the Raiders look like a superbowl team this year. All so Americas Team can have a high draft pick.

i doubt that the browns will ever be great. but now that they have a seasoned and awesome running back i think that they will not completly suck eggs this season, i think that they might go at least 6-10 which would be a great improvement form last season.
PS.... we'll miss u in Baltimore Jamal...

when was the last time they were great? 1988-89? once again the browns will suck and the steelers will have 2 easy wins again this year. you really should find a new team.

YES!
they will be like the Bears.
remember when the Bears sucked 3 years ago. two years ago they got 9/10 wins. and the next year they got to the Super Bowl.
-we have a good defense
-a running back that is a beast
-a qb with no experience.
I PREDICT 9 -7 WITH NO PLAYOFFS and we have a good offseason with playoffs in 08
Go Browns!
woof woof!
