the first 2 people are wrong.
There is a Fast and Furious 4 ( not yet titled) movie currently in development, scheduled to open in 2009.
The news comes from The Hollywood Reporter where they say Chris Morgan, the writer of the third FF movie The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, has been hired to write a fourth installment for Universal Pictures.

I don't know for sure if it's in motion but I did read last week that Vin Diesel was asking for a sequel to be made.

Unless they can convince Vin Diesel to reprise his role, the franchise is now closed.
