i dont know about your platypus, but my p++sy has always been rather delicate. Fussy about diet and where she sleeps. Furballs are a problems and she sometimes bites. Maybe she too is diabetic, or maybe epileptic, she certainly has fits and spasms after a lot of stroking and general play. Oh we have fun my p++sy and I!

Check for constant thirst and frequent urination. If the little guy is out of money, he's probably been diabetic for some time now.
