They just lost to the Pittsburg. Brees only completed 1\6 and 6 yards Reggie Bush didn't do to good and they only had 56 total yards for the 1st half

Not really - it is well known that teams don't bring out their big guns and they don't try too hard in the preseason.

Good God people! IT's just a PRESEASON GAME! Drew Brees played the first 15 snaps then sat down. Deuce didn't even play. Most of the starters were out by the second quarter.

The Saints will be ok this year...Every 1 will actually take them serious this year....so I say they get a wild card spot....Its only a preseason game though....The coaches look at the new players and position battles not to win the game whats the point of winning if your record will be 0-0-0 til the Season...Call it a scrimmage.....

well considering that its preseason, no. Thye Browns and Lions have put together impressive preseasons in the past, and have failed to win 6 games. Steelers 1st unit looked pretty good, or could it be that the Saints DB's were that bad. Too early to tell.

They should only be judged by the 1st quarter when the starters played and in that quarter they looked exactly like what I have repeatedly said they will be, an 8 or 9 win team.

My opinion has not changed at all.

Nope, no one really cares what happens during the preseason, especially the first game, unless someone got hurt of course.

This game meant absolutly nothing. Don't give up on your team for a preseason loss.

Who cares. Preseason isn't about winning; it's about seeing what everyone who isn't first string can do so they can better decide strings. I bet both of them played for a few plays.

they're secondary is weak, but the game was extremely pointless, so its not that big of a deal, most of the time it was rookies and second stringers playing, no one gives it all in preseason
