You have to keep it legal or abortions will be preformed in non-sterile places with the possibility of ending 2 lives; its ones personal choice, but I don't think it should happen after 10 weeks.

LOL, got 'em started huh?
I'm not religious either. I used to support abortion or 'a womans right to choose'. Then my son was born and within a couple days I had completely reversed my opinion. Now I realize that abortion simply kills a human being. I don't care if that human being is recently conceived or 80 years old. Our founding fathers said that the right to life was an inalienable one. All the rights in our constitution are derived from this one. Without a right to life, no other rights exists. Period.
Add to that that abortion, in the vast majority of cases, are simply for the convenience of the parents. Having a child is AWFULLY inconvenient. But it's the parents, not the child, that caused the problem and as a result, there is no reason why the child should be put to death to spare the parents a life time of inconvenience. Don't want the inconvenience? Fine, put it up for adoption. American parents are literally travelling the world looking for babies when we're lining up to kill them right here at home.
But you ask, should it be illegal. I can't answer that. There's a saying, I'm paraphrasing, in a good society, laws are unnecessary. In one that is not, laws are useless. People will do what people will do whether it's illegal or not. So it's not my place to tell people what they should do. I just don't really think that those who seek an abortion really understand what they're doing. They're too lost in their own selfish will.

How can so many know so little? Abortion was legalized to save lives, women's'! Before the abortion rights bill was passed, tens of thousands of women died every year in backroom abortion clinics at the hands of quacks looking for a quick buck. The bill gave women the right to choose what happened to their bodies. Prior to this they were the equivalent of a piece of furniture, owned by their husbands or boyfriends who had sole power over them. Are you aware that less than 20 years ago, a husband in South America was acquitted for shooting to death his wife? Her crime; dinner was not ready on time! "Justifiable Homicide"! To repeal the Abortion Rights Act is not a step to preserve the lives of unborn babies, it is a move to condemn countless young girls and women. We need to stop making the same mistakes! Learn what history has already taught us! If we didn't oppose sex education, there wouldn't be so many scared pregnant girls looking for a way out.

So all the pro lifers don't seem to realize that
1. if its illegal then it will still be done in unsterile conditions and the woman will either die or become sterile
2. if women have children they don't want the child will end up suffering
Its a woman's choice up until the last trimester the LAW says so

My opinion is the government doesn't belong in the womb. Not in any way shape or form. That includes tax dollars.
If abortion is done away with then welfare will explode. People aren't going to stop having unprotected sex if they did then we wouldn't even need to post this question.
I personally am against welfare.

It should not be legal. Killing children still in the womb is the most barbaric thing that human beings have ever come up with.
Some argue about rape because they don't want to look at their child everyday and think about that day... My question is what about single moms who weren't raped and were in a bad relationship?... do they think of that jerk everyday or do they just love their child because they know they raised the child correctly to not turn into their fathers?
Some argue about what if you know the kid will come out disabled in some way?... to them i ask, when did the Nazis make a come back? Hitler wanted to kill all of the handicapped and disfigured because they were useless and it made his country look bad.

It is and should be legal. I don't believe that an embryo is a person until the last timester of gestation. Science seems to support this.
Also, people should only have children that they want and will value. Otherwise the child suffers. A child should not be punishment for having sex.

Should not be legal.
The baby has a right to life. Roe V Wade is murder.
People (liberals) like to compare abortion to the death penalty but Ive never seen an infant commit a capitol offense.

It depends, I think that if someone has been raped or there some kind of complications with the pregancy then yes it should be allowed. But I feel like if you slept with someone and it was under your control, you should take responsibilty for your actions. I know some people will say well its not developed yet when they kill it, but eventually it will develop into a child that you are murdering. Like I said before if there are complications or cases of rape, that was out of your control and you didn't ask for it, so you have a choice... however in otherwise I believe it is wrong

Well, if you think abortion is wrong, you shouldn't really care about other people's opinions, should you? So why do you?
