It's called not communicating. Just as complicated as women are, men are the same. Both expect things from the other, but don't verbalize. Each will become angry when the expectation isn't met. For women, it may be just a kiss to prove you love her. Hand holding, bringing her flowers unexpectedly. For men, making the first move. Helping him with a chore, some men even want to be affectionate and if you aren't they wonder why. Women are more verbal though about their expectations, men are more visual.

Maybe you two aren't meant to be together because when two people love each other they try to be loving to their partner at all time not when they feel like it.
