135. (More actually, but including the ones who NEVER played is hardly fair.)

Yes, most of these are either pitchers, 19th century (dead ball era) stars, or ***** Leaguers who got a brief taste of the majors, or short-timers who made it based upon their managing or front office careers.

Hard to tell if you count all the pitchers and people who played before 1900.

I know about these ones.
Ozzie Smith hit 28, Rod Carew hit 92, Luis Aparicio hit 83. If he plays 3 more seasons, Ichiro could be the next one

Almost of the Deadball-era stars didn't reach 100 homers, guys like Cap Anson, Eddie Collins, Jimmy Collins, or Nellie Fox. And a lot of speed guys were light hitters, like Aparicio.

There are too many to list, so I'd suggest just checking the homers category on this list of HOFers:

Well, there are gobs of PITCHERS. . .all of them, in fact, except guys like Babe Ruth (very few of these) and guys like Ted Williams, who pitched in a game.

Nellie Fox wasn't a dead-ball era player. He was the Ron Santo of his day, not getting in when he deserved to. He was just a great light-hitting 2nd baseman.

There are qiute a few. Half of the SS, (Ozzie Smith), and 2B, (Rod Carew), in the HOF have less than 100 HRs.

There is a listing, (by position), at this site:
