How is it that when you have feelings for a person that everything physically and emotionally gets so wound up. I have been with my boyfriend for close to three months now, and just thinking about him makes my head spin, stomach flutters, I mean I litteraly am beside myself.
So I feel lately that being in love is more of a disease. hehe It feels awesome to be in love I will say that much.

I love this question...I believe that it is because it seems that no matter if it is really good or really bad it always makes you feel abnormal. For instance before you get married(or a big event it is the one person you want to be with for the rest of your life...your filled with anxiety, lose sleep, you have butterflies..and so on. Now when someone breaks your heart you have a head ache from too much thought of what happened, you probably feel sick to your stomach once again, nervous, cant hold down food, cant sleep, cant be awake. so yea i mean if it is altering your normal state i guess.. sorry got a little deep..: )

Actually what you are experiencing is not love at all. What you are referring to is a chemical reaction in the body to a potential experience to procreate. Our body reacts to the stimulation of spending time talking and enjoying physical exchanges in a way that ensures survival of the species.
It can be compared to the way the body braces before an accident or the strange feeling you get sometimes when you know that something is wrong.
Two years is the normal duration for this chemical reaction.

Love is something that can make your entire life incredible, and it does spread like a disease so yeah
Scientific:
"Love" is a emotion that can affect people in different ways.Your hormonal patterns will change of course so technically "love" is a disease but of course not fatal like salmonella or some other disease.

Sure in some cases I consider Love a disease because at times, two people cannot handle the raw and true emotions of one another and negative feelings are damaging that are
beyond repair.
