If you're a creationist, why did God make monkeys? Why did he make monkeys if we were supposed to be perfect? Not that we are anymore.

If you're an evolutionist, then what is the meaning of life? What is the point of working so hard to make a living if in the end you will die and disappear forever? What is the point if there is no heaven in the end?

Or do you believe in something else?

There is no meaning of life. That question does not even make any sense. What is the meaning of life in relation to what? To whom? What does this question really mean? What is the meaning of life is like saying everything happens for a reason. Yeah right, genocides and atrocities, kids get abused, and the fly landed on top of my head all for a reason...Right? Wrong!
Q.What is the point of working so hard to make a living if in the end you will die and disappear forever?
A. Because if I don`t work hard to make a living I WILL STARVE!
Q.What is the point if there is no heaven in the end?
A. Should I just kill myself right now because there is no heaven? The fact that I`m an atheist makes me value my life even more. Because it`s all I got, might as well live it up till the end.

Both of those are based on human thought. Has human thought really answered anything? The human species came to exist in the same way every other species did. It's continuing to happen today and will continue well after our society is gone.
Both creationists and evolutionists are looking for the 'meaning of life'. Both are creating their belief systems with the tools of human thought. If none of these questions have been answered in the entirety of recorded and unrecorded human experience, why do you think that either of these will?
There is nothing to believe. It is your culture that demands that you find some meaning or belief to stand behind. Not knowing is the natural condition of everything.

According to the ancient Veda (the original knowledge that came with the whole creation) We are all eternal. Every living entity including; aquatics, plants, bugs, birds, animals, humans, exist eternally. They are transmigrating through different species of life within this material world until they come to the human form then they have the opportunity for self realization and ability to understand their eternal relationship with the creator, also known as (Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc.) We never die, only this material body dies. The spiritual Eternal kingdom also consists of all variegated living entities, but there all living beings are in complete cooperation in loving service to God. Here everything is perverted and everyone is trying to lord it over material nature. Deep down I, truly, believe that nothing happens when we die. The meaning of life isn't so much as an overall meaning as an individual meaning. Life is what you make of it.

As far as where we came from, I'm not entirely sure. I believe, more or less, in evolution. But from whence the atoms and molecules (even prior to the big bang theory), that could start the basic formations of life itself, came from...I don't know.

I am a evolutionist.

There is no meaning to life until you create one for yourself. What is the point? The point is that you are here, now, whether you like it or not. You don't know whether you got another chance or not, so make the most of what you have. There is no point if you don't want one. There is no point to life the applies to everyone, it has to be personal.

who cares if there is no heaven in the end
you get as much enjoyment in life as possible.
im agnostic about beliefs but i am positive about evolution.
we are going to disappear forever and never remember this life for now, but you just gotta live life and either spend your time on earth hating it or loving it, making something out of it or nothing.
theres no 'whats the point' type of thing in me, the point is that you gotta do what you gotta do to be happy!

I believe, well, i prefer the evolution reason. The primordial soup, then single cells organisms, multicelluler organisms, fish, reptiles, mammals, humans (i know ive missed huge gaps, i couldnt be bothered to correctly write out the whole theory of evolution). but there is no point to life, its just once huge occurance with no meaning or greater purpose. It just happened by chance.

"What is the point of working so hard to make a living if in the end you will die and disappear forever?"

The point of working hard is to leave a legacy, either a family that carries on your memory, genes, name, etc or in the form of a memorable work of art or technology.

And, ya know, to just live and enjoy it (without p*ssing on other people's lives obviously)

God created the human race for his glory. Monkeys are just one of the amazing types of animals that God also created for His glory.
