Gee, why am I not surprised? It just goes to show that some people are not cut out for that amount of power, and most of these people are Demoncrats. Why do people vote them in?

According to Gallup ending July 30 2007 approval was 24% ddisapproval 63% & 13% undecided. Not good but better than the Republican congress prior to Jan 2007 that came in at 16% approval, 75% disapproval and 9% undecided.

From Zogby Poll 8/1/07
---Just 24% give the president favorable ratings of his performance in handling the war in Iraq, but confidence in Congress is significantly worse – only 3% give Congress positive marks for how it has handled the war. This lack of confidence in Congress cuts across all ideologies. Democrats – some of whom had hoped the now Democrat-led Congress would bring an end to the war in Iraq – expressed overwhelming displeasure with how Congress has handled the war, with 94% giving Congress a negative rating in its handling specifically of that issue.

This is what happens when people rely on Democratic promises. In all fairness however the newly elected Senators and Congresspersons did not inherit a very attractive situation. No issue is magically solved overnight when so many compromises and add on's become attached to a simple bill. The number one priority they should have attacked would have been to once and for all get to the bottom of 9/11 and started an impeachment process on Shrub and Cheney. Their approval rating would have grown exponentially. Both parties are guilty of letting outside interests trump their constituents needs. There are some very good Senators and Congresspersons in office but they are the minority and cannot do it all by themselves.

Well, Nancy has got other things on her mind.
She could go to prison for Corruption.
If Democrats weren't Above The Law, she would already be charged.
(No, those figures Are not lies. 3% Approval for Iraq. And 14% Approval on everything else. And that's too high. The New Commies aren't looking so good.)

Yeah, every single one of your posts is so slanted to the right I have a hard time believing anything you say. You are a card carrying member of the blame the democrats crowd so I would be inclined to say that your little rumor is BS.

Zogby polls..

...Survey shows just 3% of Americans approve of how Congress is handling the war in Iraq; 24% say the same for the President.....
The funny thing is that people are angry over the pulling out of troops. They do NOT want them pulled too soon.

Nope, none at all. This congress has only been in session for six months. In that time, they raised the minimum wage and passed some other meaningful legislation.

No, it's around 25%, comparable to the polling Congress received during the Vietnam Era. http://www.pollingreport.com/CongJob.htm
