I have pretty good shaped nails (naturally) i don't do anything extra to take care of my nails like go to the salon or anything. The most i do is put on nailpolish once in a while. I want some tips on some things i can do for my nails at home by myself. I've tried shaping my nails but i really don't kno how to do that. Any tips??

The tips of your nails can mirror the shape of the lunula (the pale crescent near the cuticle) or shaped into a squoval for the most natural look.

Soft, Smooth Hand Trick
This gently exfoliating scrub will make your hands noticeably softer and smoother.

In a small bowl, mash:
1/4 of a peeled avocado
1 egg white
2 tablespoons oatmeal
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Combine well and apply to your hands. Leave the mixture on for 20 minutes, then rinse in warm water and pat dry. http://www.care2.com/greenliving/avocado-kitchen-cupboard-beauty-tips.html

If your nails have a pretty good natural shape, I wouldn't worry too much about that. To spice up your nails you can always get one of those nail kits at the drugstore to add design to your polish.

My nails have a pretty good shape to them too but I go to the nail salon once every couple of months so they can shape them up (I then just maintain that shape) and all that other stuff. Its pretty cheap to get it done too.
