Depending on you specific situation and skills, either option could be better than the other. Both options could be bad. If you chose a home business, what would you do. Any home business that you don't create yourself is NOT a good option. Going back to school, at least full time, may not be any option at all. The ONE thing that is certain, is that you MUST have an income.

Both would be hard. Going back to college would be a better option, at least part time. There are a lot of factors to look at though. Money, time, are your kids in school or at home most of the day, Do you have people who would be willing to assit you in your career path whether it be school or opening a business. do you have the right business for the people? have you resaearched your location for a need of the service that you would provide?
Lot's of things to ask! At leat with going back to school you could pace yourself so that you wouldn't cause yourself to be in a frenzy. I guess the best question is to ask yourself are your kids in a position to allow you the time to achieve your goal.

how old are your kids?? are they in school??? I would suggest if you are interested in going back to school for what career???try going back part time so your still able to work>> some colleges have cheap child care options on campus while you are in class. try a community college they have lots of 2yr programs you can do that you can get a job when your done....... do you have a business idea in mind. are you educated/have skills in that area.....starting a business is risky and can be hard work. i believe a college degree would be the most beneficial to you in your situation.

Struggling financially? You need a plan to get some income. Maybe a second job. Or day care so that you can watch other kids when you are home with yours.
Not everyone can run a home business and make profit.

Getting a grant, going back to college..
Unless you already got a plan for a viable business that you can finance for a couple of yrs.,that will keep you going.
Sometimes staying home is great, but you can stagnate.

I have recently started working with an awesome company called Gurrlie Girl, I sell costume as well as scripture jewelry. I love what I do and stay at home with my two children, this also allows me the flexibility to do schooling part-time.
Let me know if I can share information with you on how to get started.

Try starting your own business. See if you can change the world if only the part of it that you live in.
