Since I have been back i Ga. from Oldsmar Florida, actually landing on any job here in Ga. is very difficult. I have the expereince and sometimes over qualified for the positions and get no reply

Yes and no. My employer ONLY accepts on-line applications. If you work into the HR department to apply, they will direct you to a computer with the company website loaded. That does not mean a particular applicant gets any more attention than a paper resume would have 20 years ago. Unless something in your resume gets the recruiters attention, NO form of application is affective. They placing a follow-up call to let them know your application has been submitted and ask for an interview. That alone will make you more noticeable than 99% of people that apply online.

Yes, it depends on the employer. Some employers only allow potential workers to apply online. From my experience lots of people submit applications/resumes online and there is only one person to look through all of the applicants so it could take awhile to get a response.
