With over 47 million Americans having no medical coverage and many paying up to and over $1,000 a month seeking a national health care system, more than half the people in the U.S. are against the war in Iraq and Roe vs. Wade (a U.S. Supreme Court decision) that has become the law of the land regarding abortion, a sitting President who will leave this country in a huge budget deficit when President Bush's term expires without any possible tax cut in sight for the next five years...

Who are the Republicans appealing to?

Are you satisfied with the current Republican Party candidates or is this the worse crop you've ever witnessed?

I think the worst the Republicans have to offer are so far above any of the socialist surrender monkeys that are currently wanting to represent the democrats.

The Republican party has never cared about social issues like universal health care. They do not care who does or doesn't approve of the Iraq war. They care about Roe V Wade, but they can't do anything until they get a case to the Supreme Court. The two houses of Congress would never pass an antiabortion bill. The Republican party could care less about the deficit as long as the money is spent to make high level power brokers happy. Also, a high deficit makes Tbills possible. At the end of the Clinton administration, the government had almost phased them out. They don't really appeal to anybody. What they want to do is scare everybody into voting for them, however illogical the fear is. The current slate of candidates is no worse than previous years. They are self-aggrandizing, power hungry men who will say whatever they think you want to hear before the election and do what they are told after it.

This insaneness will stop when the people STOP voting party. We are getting what we ask for. Under half of eligible people vote. They are the special interest or strictly party voters. Vote for the person who best portrays what is important to you.
We don't have national health care because the majority of the people that have job paid health care have an attitude toward those that don't. You see it in this forum. However, some of these same people are in favor of sending billions to Iraq to rebuilt the country, hospitals, schools & whatever they want to build. For our own people, the hell with them. Unbelievable!

How I decide which candidate/party to vote for: 1) who will effectively and realistically manage the terrorist threat; 2) who will appoint judges that are constructionist in interpreting the constitution, and 3) who will maintain the size of government...or shrink it (Joy!!!).

The Republicans have been good at promising things along these lines, but have poor follow through on point 3. The Democrats don't even pretend to care about those points. No, I'm not totally satisfied with the Republican candidates, but the likely alternative makes me want to vomit.

Everything the republican party has to offer has run it's course over the last 20 years to now. The pendulum will now swing to the left for a democratically controlled government for several years to come depending on how the next democrat administration does.

As I predicted this president (and his administration) are the worst in the history of this country. I can only think of one kind of thing he is doing that is consistently positive. They are using fear tactics to appeal to sheep.

Yes.
Study harder in school.
Your "facts" are all wrong.

All Democrats have to do is just get a job and get Health Insurance.
Or, go on Welfare, like most Democrats, and all your Health Costs are paid for by us taxpayers.
