If you got the job no need to send a letter.
If you haven't yet got the job don't send a letter..........it will seem like you are begging for the job if you send a thank you letter for the interview.
If you didn't get the job no need to send a letter.
So don't send a letter at all !!!!

If you are going to send a thank-you letter, do it right. Hand write it legibly on good quality white or ivory paper in black ink. Use a heavy stock, (thicker as opposed to thinner paper.) You might even consider getting monogrammed letters or notecards. (A single sheet notecard like a large postcard--with envelope--will work as well.)
Use the employer/interviewer's name, make it brief, refer to the time and date of your interview, re-affirm a point or two about why you would be perfect for this job and include your contact information.
Mail it within 24 hours of the interview. This will look professional and make you seem on top of etiquette and details.

deliver it by using e mail now. you like the guy who interviewed you to have your e mail in recommendations while he sits down with HR and discusses the applicants for the job. distinctive the people won't even deliver a thank you, so it is one extra feather on your cap. ascertain you info study, spell verify, then info study back earlier sending.

It is customary to send a thank you "note." still today. Keep it professional and short. Do it soon within three to five days of the interview and your application will float to the top. good luck...
