If you like unpredictable heroines try ANY YA book by Meg Cabot. Meg Cabot's new book called "Jinx" is about a klutzy girl (Jinx) who finds out she might have magical powers inherited from her ancestor who was a witch. Her books always give me a laugh. Reminds me off Stephenie Meyer's humor. :0)
