Things you can try are regular robitussin, tylenol for the aches and pains, benedryl(helps with the runny nose and stuff sinus part) cloraseptic throat spray for a bad sore throat or throat lozenges....a humidifier can help at night and vaporrub. Just don't do all that at once! LOL

in case you have known blood rigidity think approximately being pregnant-led to rhinitis. (Pregnant sniffles) It happens in some unspecified time interior the destiny in ninety% of all pregnancies. attempt a saline nasal RINSE (not a twig) an entire heat water saline rinse is going in one nostril and out the different. It attracts out each and every of the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming interior the sea). i've got been doing it at artwork too. The buffered salt does not 'sting' as much as basic salt water. you ought to use a clean technique like Nasopure, or the classic, Netipot. The specific bottle and salt is approximately $20. you're able to try this a oftentimes as you like without undesirable area effects. You don’t desire a prescription for this medical care. So in case you reside in a state like mine, they’ve somewhat plenty “outlawed” sudafed medicine. Drug-loose is somewhat a thank you to bypass on a commonly used-use foundation. (I put in a link for “what” and “how” – there’s additionally some reliable info on wiki)

My doctor told me I could tale children's dimetapp (the yummy grape stuff).
For sore throats to help soothe, fill a mug with hot water and add lemon and honey to taste. Its a hot toddy without the brandy and is really soothing. The honey helps coat the throat and the lemon helps cut through the gunk.
Tylenol is said to be safe during pregnancy for your headaches. Also try drinking some extra water to help.
And as always, chicken noodle soup is always a great remedy when you're sick.
OJ is also good for you and ups your vitamin C intake to help battle the colds.

Best of luck to you! I know how miserable it is to be sick and unable to dose up on the meds like you usually would. Stay tough and you'll pull through.

My OB told me to take Benedryl & Tylenol! Both are pretty safe. Just don't take more than the recommended dose. You can get both in one pill if you buy Tylenol PM. The "PM" part is just benedryl! A lot of people don't know that! You can take sudafed during the day, but it has a stimulant (caffeine) effect, so you shouldn't take it at night.

Hope you feel better!

Hi
I would ride it out, why risk your babies health? I do not believe in taking anything except a limtied amount of paracetamol during pregnancy.
Cold are not that bad and only hang around for a few days.
Sorry, but I think we should be so careful and keep as natural as possible while pregnant.
Good luck!

My doctor told me regular strenth Sudifed but before you take anything call you OBGYN and see what he/she may suggest. Each pregnancy is differant and it may act differant with you than me. Godd luck and I hope you feel better, again if I would not suggest taking anything before you call the Doctor.

Your doctor may have some suggestion's and I advise talking to him. There is nothing over the counter, except tea and honey, that you can take without hurting, or possibly hurting, the baby.
