Favorite team LSU you know that. Reason why BCS champion worthy because of the defense. Hopefully both my team and your team will be in the BCS championship game so everyone will stop crying about whose better SEC teams or USC.

Oklahoma

Returning solid offensive line and strong defensive unit. Great running backs that backed up Peterson and a Freshman with the name Demarco Murrey that looks a lot a young Barry Sanders.

Tough early test against Miami could forcast how the rest of the season goes with new QB.

My team is USC. They are atop the polls and the world right now. They are everyone's pick to win it all. The only exeption would be mental patients. USC has my man John David Booty, a potential and proboble Heisman winner. (Would be the 3rd USC QB in 6 years). We have what Pete Carroll has called "the fastest defence I (Pete Carroll) have ever coached." He's coached in the NFL so that means something. I'm a Gators fan, and have been since the dawning of the Zook era... more like purgatory than an era, though. They have the speed, coaching, and talent to repeat, but they are WAY too young and have a lot of problems. I think by 2008, they will be ready.

To tell you the truth, my pick for the championship game is USC vs. LSU... not a fan of either, but SEC pride- gotta go for the Tigers (especially since all the other SEC teams gave us support during last year's season when we whacked OSU ;) ).

I have been dying for a question like this.. Thumbs WAY up

Auburn.. here's why

Offensively... best group of RB's in the country.. 4 star backs who'd start anywhere else.. (Lester, Tate, Davis and Fannin) with Carl Stewart (best hands on the team) at FB
underrated O-Line that everyone says is questionable.. they've all got starts under they're belt.. Center was starting vs Florida.. keep that in mind..
TE returns.. Cole Bennett.. preseason All-American last year.. broke his leg vs LSU
WR.. this would be a ? but Dunn, Smith, Hawthone and Zachery are all FAST.. 2 legit deep threats.. Rodriguez Smith is a solid possession receiver..
QB.. just a 6th year Senior who knows Al Borges Offense like he wrote it himself.. backups are questionable but got talent.. especially if they don't redshirt Kodi Burns..

Defense.. Quentin Groves is the best DE in the nation.. and anchors a SOLID D-Line that will wreak havok.. look out for Marks on the other side..
LB.. Blackmon is a beast.. plays like he's possessed has a nose for the ball and can cover in zone.. loss of Trahan hurts but not as bad because they have big depth in the front 7
Secondary.. best in the SEC.. depth.. experience.. Irons Graduated but got some serious talent left

Kicking game.. is a question but this has happened before and all worked out (we stole matt clark off the flag squad in 04 and he did fine)

Coaching.. Tubberville wins.. 3rd best winning percentage in last 3 seasons.. Borges gets to open up the playbook this year with Cox healthy.. Muschamp has the playmakers to do what he wants defensively

intangibles.. 4 TOUGH road games.. but Auburn is 11-1 on the road in last 3 years and that loss is only because Vaughn missed 5 field goals @ LSU in 2005

If Auburn goes at least 10-2 they should be in a BCS bowl.Only problem is you have 2 or 3 other SEC team that possibly could be 11-1 or better. They were in the same boat last year.As far as championship title game.If they win the SEC championship with their schedule then they should be in it.They play@LSU@Florida,@Arkansas,@GeorgiaBut my honest prediction for the title game will be USC vs.LSU

Notre Dame is my team...and I'm not delusional...I doubt they'll be in the BCS title game...maybe the season after this one...They'll be in a BCS bowl though...They are Notre Dame...

LSU.

Why do I think they have a shot?

Road games are not as tough as last year's (But Bama, South Carolina and Kentucky worry me...Tulane is crap)

Toughest games are at home. (and LSU is tough to beat at home).

Returning an outstanding defense

USC, they are loaded again, last year they could have won the national championship again if not for losing to UCLA. they didn't lose anybody on defense to the draft either.
