Yeah, I found that out recently. Bottled water waste is also a big issue, because few people actually recycle the bottles.
Also, it's important to realize that ALL bottled water is manufactured through water privatization, which raises people's water prices a LOT, even in poor countries where people absolutely cannot LIVE without water to drink and water their crops with. People are literally forced to choose between paying their water bills and feeding their children. We're used to having running water all the time, but some places only get it for a few hours a day, or a few days a week. Don't buy bottled water! You can buy a filter that attaches directly to your tap, or just drink the water from the tap (it won't hurt you! It was already filtered thoroughly before it got to your home). You'll save a lot of money, and if we work together we can save a lot of lives.

Did you know that any bottled water that says 'Purified Drinking Water' is just tap water? The ones that say spring water are the only ones actually from a spring

So is almost all the other bottled water you buy at the store. Aquafina's just one of the first to admit it.

Sure did. ALL bottled water is filtered tap water. They mix maybe 100 gallons of the real stuff they say it's from with millions of gallons of tap water, bottle it, and scre_w the public. Except Nestle, they pump out of the ground in northern Michigan, filter it and bottle it.

Tap water and spring water have almost the same amount of bacteria, so that doesn't matter. It's the taste that counts. I don't care whose tap water it is, as long as it's not my nasty tap :-).

Yes I did. If you want "safer" then distilled is the way to go if not for the taste.
