Im not sure about websites, but your local housing authority maybe a good place to start, also asking the neighbours sometimes yields results. If a house has had a death there is someone usually glad to tell you about it. Why do you have a ghost?

Researching the history of your home is a fun pasttime and can take some digging. The place to start is via a title search. Call the person who did yours, and ask them to give you whatever info they have. From there, you can go to your local library to look up the folks who owned the house before you!

You could google the address. Don't expect to get much, though.

You could ask a neighbor who has lived nearby for a long time.
