No. It would solve some problems while creating others.

The good is that America was never intended to be the welfare state that it is and surely this would relieve the tax payers of this burden.

Socialist agendas would be a thing of the past. Redistribution of wealth would be a thing of the past.

But... This goes against everything that America stands for. (Taxation without representaion.) Everyone should have a say as long as you are a legal citizen.

Which by the way makes a great case against the so called "Fairness Doctrine" that the leftists are trying to use to silence opposing views. "EVERYONE" should have a say so if liberals want to be heard on talk radio, they should find a spokesperson that people will listen to. I believe that liberal talk radio is a failure because people are tired of hearing them cry and complain and preach socialism.

Alot of people don't own property. They have to rent because they can't afford the property taxes, the homeowner's insurance, the high gas bill to heat the house and all the maintenance that goes into owning a home or other property. Everyone should have the right to vote, not just the more fortunate. There is alot of other kinds of people out there who have a hell alot more of a brain than you do for even asking this question, who can vote just fine on their own.

No, of course not. All citizens over the age of 18 are given the right to vote by our Constitution. It's one of our most precious freedoms - maybe THE most precious freedom. What happens in this country affects those who rent as much as it does those who own property. No special rights should be given to anyone because they happen to own property - that would be distinctly unAmerican.

No, I believe that anyone over the age of 18 that is a registered voter should have the ability to vote. This excludes criminals and those in prison. Are you trying to say that people in an apartment shouldn't be allowed to vote? If you are taxed and are over 18, you should be able to vote.

Interesting notion. However, I would like to know what the term "property" entailed and satisfied its definition. Do you have to own a house or would a hamster suffice?
