Ok, its time for leadersjip change
And guess who was in charge of these guns
General Betray us!
$billions and billions missing in U.S. funds - our tax dollars lost and no one is accountable
Now guns - and they will take the lives of our soldiers!
WAKE UP
And now they have lost "190,000" machine guns
Guess who those guns will be killing
The very American men and women in service we have been fighting to get home!
We all need to do something - right now!
Constant failure and no true leadership!
Our troops deserve better!

Thousands of U.S.-Bought Weapons Lost in Iraq
http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2007/08/06/thousands_of_guns_feared_lost_in_iraq/
The Pentagon has lost track of about 190,000 AK-47 assault rifles and pistols given to Iraqi security forces in 2004 and 2005, according to a new government report, raising fears that some of the weapons have fallen into the hands of insurgents fighting US forces in Iraq.

Some people won't believe the truth with all the proof in the world given to them, as you can see from your question. The party of accountability does not like to take responsibility for things that happen under their leadership, for lack of a better word. I will never understand the people who still back this administration. Failure and unpreparedness is their trademark, maybe that's why it has become so secretive.

There were insurgents that were interviewed. I think I read it in a Times article or it was in the news. One of them claimed that some US Army Captains were funneling them weapons for cash. I thought that was ludicrous at first. Now hearing that almost 200000 guns are missing, I now believe there is some truth to that article. Also, there are dishonest Iraqi soldiers and officers that are looking to get paid as well.

Dude don't panic....weapons and materials are missed placed dueing conflicts all the time and they ususally turn up or at the very least traced to where they are. I know it's one more band wagon to jump but refrain yourself until the investigatin is over on it. Oh! and I have not been fighting to get our troops home (my son being one of them) I believe they are there for a good reason and they VOLUNTEERED FOR IT!

"General Betray us!"
Lol where do you come up with this krap. Are you implying he intentionally lost them? He hasn't even been in command most of the time. this is just another example of why big governament is bad. Its a big, powerful and really dumb animal. It would lose itself if it could
