Live alone while dating. Be comfortable being completely in charge of your own destiny. Buy a dog if you're scared to live alone. Before living with a dude, definitely decide if he is your ideal mate or even really any all that ideal, period...only move in if he's seemingly worth it to grow with overtime, make sure he's not using you for rent and a place to crash. Reevaluate your truest desires in a best-friend, and keep those an important priority...such as true unconditional love, and humor, and hard working with a solid wholesome belief in family. Don't settle for the rich, the pretty, or the bad boy. You will be sure to meet and find true love, if you don't settle for anyone of lesser morals along the way. It can take years...I met the love of my life 11 years ago, I sang for his band CROTCH...we hooked up coupla years later and since we were already bad *** friends, we fell in true love...it was a long time coming...I'd been in 3 2-year relationships while "growing up", and thank God I didn't settle...when I realized I'd made a mistake I bailed. AND don't get pregnant either! I've never been pregnant so I haven't dragged any children thru my drama. Wait for the right one, you deserve true love.

Yes, very much so. I am 48 and on my second marriage. I have never lived alone. My husband now is divorcing me so that I can have a life of my own, where I missed out before. Although I have lost everything in the divorce, I have gained my freedom to do as I wish. So yes do live alone and be yourself before your older and wind up alone at an older age. Personally, I have waited for this all my life. Good luck.

Yes, of course!!! If you've never lived on your own, alone, you don't know how great it can be! It can be lonely too, but on the whole it's wonderful. You can do whatever you want, when you want, and you can learn more about yourself as an individual. Of course you should experience living alone. EDIT- sorry- didn't see the age thing. I'm 45. (eek)

Yes....forgive me for this part....YES!
I did not live alone ever. When I was 36 I found myself living on my own with two small kids. Had I lived alone first sometime between mom/dad's house and marriage it would have been easier at 36 with kids.

By all means do it! What a wonderful experience to have to get to know ones self.
Once you experience it I doubt if you would want to just move in with someone. You really lose your indepence once you do that.

I say so. At the very least, you would gain some bases for comparison :-)
Edit: I'm 24 by the way.
